Mothers are so rarely in the frame. We take the photos, we step aside, we usher in the children and try to make them smile.
"Where were you mummy?" my daughter asks as we look at photographs together. "I was taking the photograph", I explain.
I'm also guilty of not stepping into the frame often enough. That's why in my photography sessions, it's so important for me to capture mum. I photograph mum looking beautiful, feeling loved, and having fun.
Motherhood is precious. Don't forget to take a picture.
