When people ask about my newborn photography, I always start by explaining that my approach involves the whole family. I’m not just photographing a newborn baby, but a family that is welcoming a new addition. I come to your home to tell your family story, one that involves your newest little bundle, and probably some other people and a pet or two as well. I don’t bring props and I don’t bring my watch.. instead I bring patience, a listening ear and every last drop of creativity in my possession, to help create a set of beautiful and authenic images for you to treasure forever.
I call my approach ‘lifestyle newborn photography’. It offers a relaxed alternative to a studio session where I capture you and your loved ones in your own environment. It can takes place days after your baby’s birth, or weeks. The beauty of lifestyle photography is that its flexible to suit you. I capture what I see, and share with you what I love…
Which leads me on to these beautiful sisters. I met Paige and her mummy through my own daughter’s toddler ballet class. When Paige welcomed her little sister Peyton into the world, the family invited me into their home to capture some family moments. As a surrey newborn photographer, I often meet families through recommendations or my own parenting network. I know it’s important to trust the photographer that you welcome into your home. If you’d like to read some of the kind words that familiies have written about working with me, then please read my reviews.
In the mean time, here are Peyton and Paige..
